Blog Response
Please go to my blog. Every Thursday, you need to listen and read the articles posted. Please write a reflection and agree or disagree to the question. You should do some research and use APA. The length is usually 250 words. You will be marked for your critical thinking and research.
Every Sunday, you will choose at least three other people’s posting and critique their response. The length is usually 100 words. You will be marked for your critical thinking and synthesis of information.
Student teaching
You should prepare a 20 - 30 minute lecture/workshop for your classmates. This can range from teaching Yoga, dancing, personal hobbies and etc.
Next 10 minutes will be spent on class discussion of your chosen topic.
You will be peer-marked.
Student-led discussions
You should prepare at least 5 discussion questions of a chosen topic.
The questions should be Yes/no, balanced, and impersonal.
You will lead the discussion and make sure that the students are on-task.

Newspaper Reports
In groups of 3 or 4 choose a same article from the ‘opinion’ or ‘editorial’ section from an online or traditional newspaper.
You should research the article and have an opinion about the topic.
You will have a debate in class. At least one person should say yes or no.
